About Abe Vigoda:
Abe Vigoda began the pursuit of performance arts in Kindergarten when his teacher walked in the room and said "I need someone that looks old." The teacher glanced at each student and proceeded to point at Abe stating "you look old."
Vigoda is a true example of finding success later in life as his first major role was not until he landed Salvatore Tessio in Francis Ford Coppola's The Godfather (1972) in his 50s. On set, during the famous wedding scene, Abe contributed an idea so charming that it made the cut. He can be seen dancing with a little girl on top of his feet. That is just one of the little moments that make his contribution to cinema so memorable.
