December and New Year’s have both come and gone – what a whirlwind they were! In December, we launched “The Goddess Blend” and have been LOVING the response and excitement from everyone towards the blend. We can only hope that Ava Gardner would be proud of it, but I personally think she would be. If you haven’t tried that yet, you must do so! It was created with Ava’s own tastes and preferences in mind. A few words it has been described with are bold, rich, and lightly smokey – quite a perfect variety of descriptors to charm any coffee lover.
“The Jazz Club Blend” got a minor delay in launch due to some holiday slow-downs. I personally PROMISE it is coming this month (January) and will be well worth the wait! Ella Fitzgerald deserves the best product we can produce and that quest for perfection just needed a few extra weeks to achieve that. The great news is that you can still pre-order it! What this means is that your bag will be shipped first and be among the exclusive fans enjoying a cup of Ella with us! This Candied Pecan flavored medium roast is so enjoyable any way you make it. Personally, I sneak an evening brew in using this one and treat myself to a hot cup of it lightly sweetened with a touch of extra creamy oat milk. It is divine!
On New Year’s, we had the immense pleasure of being able to announce that a Mary Pickford coffee blend is coming in the Spring! Mary Pickford is such a special legacy. Not only was she a silent screen legend, but she was an absolute powerhouse in business and behind the camera. Mary was a founder of United Artists, The Motion Picture Television Fund, and The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. “The Sweetheart Blend” is unique because it will feature a blue foil signature rather than our typical gold that everyone has come to know and recognize. This blue signature is special to Mary Pickford because it is the actual color she used to sign her name with!

January 18th will be one full year in business and I’ve got to say… as a one-woman show working another job or three to make these plans and dreams a reality, I think it has been a GREAT first year. I so hope everyone has enjoyed what we’ve brought to the world this past year and the announcements we’ve made looking toward the future.
