Coffee is a staple in over half of America’s morning routines. Waking up, making coffee, adding in your favorite non-dairy creamer… it’s just a perfect way to start the day. We’re in an exciting place within society right now due to the ever-expanding market when it comes to plant-based options and it can totally be overwhelming trying to decide whether it’s worth the extra cost to try something new. Great news! We have tried a large majority of them, so you won’t have to! Continue reading to find out our current top 5 favorite non-dairy coffee creamers.
When deciding on a list of favorites, the checklist we had was simple – each one must be easily accessible in most grocery stores, they can not be an insanely expensive gourmet option, and it has to taste amazing!
- Silk Almond Creamer
This is one of the most accessible and popular brands, and the products really back up the hype! A staple in any kitchen, these non-dairy creamers are tasty and froth extremely well, which can be difficult to achieve with the majority of alternative coffee creamers.
It is specifically the almond creamers from Silk that we’re obsessed with. The oat line tastes nice, but none of the varieties have left us wanting to go back for more.
We recommend the Sweet & Creamy or the Vanilla of this lineup. - Califia Farms Almond and Oat Creamer
Califia Farms is specifically on this list because of how enjoyable their version of a pumpkin spice almond milk creamer is! They’ve got a cinnamon roll oat creamer that comes quite highly recommended as well (we suggest pairing it with our Hedy Lamarr Cinnamon Bun coffee blend).
There is one downside to these products. They do not froth well. If that isn’t a major component for you, try these ones out and share your thoughts!
We recommend the Pumpkin Spice (there is a barista oat version as well! We haven’t found this one yet, though it seems promising.) or the Cinnamon Roll of this lineup. - Nutpods
If you’re on any sort of diet or trying to be mindful of what you consume, these are the creamers for you! They are paleo, whole 30, and keto-friendly and there are unsweetened and sweetened options. We particularly enjoy the Hazelnut flavor, though there are many to choose from! We’re still searching for the Toasted Marshmallow and Cookie Butter varieties at our local shops.
We recommend the Hazelnut. - Chobani
Chobani carries a plant-based and oat-based line of creamers that froth well and taste awesome! There really isn’t much more to ask for in a creamer. The Caramel Macchiato flavor is what won us over, but there are many to choose from!
We recommend the Caramel Macchiato. - Starbucks Non-Dairy
It’s almost sacrilegious to mention another coffee company on our website, but you have got to give props where they are due and Starbucks has created a nice product! Each one is a blend of almond and oat milk for a perfect balance and they froth well as a mini-bonus.
We recommend the Caramel Macchiato.
